so my comment is just speculation and just speaking for experience with injection molding. I would be surprised if they are adding texturing as a secondary operation. I would like to see one of the bezels to see for sure. In general, most plastic parts with texture on them are injection molded with the texture. The mold cavity is textured either through EDM, engraved or etched. Of course sometimes you want the part to be completely smooth and "shiny", at that point the mold cavity gets polished. Based on the quantity and the price that they are selling the double din, their supplier is probably a low cost supplier that provided the tooling that is again, low cost. On top of that, based on reading the feedback from others, it appears that they are not running correct process parameters for the material they are running, and most likely the material is a regrind that has been regrind multiple times. My best bet would be the mold is a single cavity A/B mold, and they aren't able to fill it completely, so they are running the material hotter to make it flow better, in turn they are degrading the material, hence why people are complaining of the part cracking/breaking.
